In addition to traditional security tools, Illuminex also uses the multi-level encryption technology, gives user’s full control of all permissions, and never takes custody of user assets.
Basic Security
Accounts require two-factor authentication if they are connected to any live accounts
Encryptation
All important information is encrypted within Illuminex
Exchanges require IP authorization to use the API keys
The user tells their exchange which IP can use the API keys they create
When a user enters those keys into Illuminex, any change in the IP address will stop the keys from working
Illuminex further encrypts the API keys uniquely to our system
Once a user adds their API keys to our system, it can only be used within Illuminex
Even if someone found a way to steal and decrypt the keys, they are unusable outside Illuminex
User Control
Users maintain total control over the permissions of their API keys for all their respective exchanges.
As long as users do not add the withdraw/deposit permission, they can be sure no money will move out of their exchange account.
If users delete their API keys from Illuminex, their information is deleted completely; we don’t maintain any record of it
Non-custodial
Illuminex will never take custody of users’ assets – all crypto assets remain in the custody of their respective exchange accounts
